MAZE COLLISION REPAIR

About Us

Johnny and Sandy Maze

Maze Collision Repair began in 1981 in a barn behind Johnny and Sandy Maze’s home in St. Peters. By 1983 they had saved enough money to build a location in old town St. Peters, at the time employing only one person, besides themselves. Twenty-eight years later, they have 3 locations, St. Peters, Wentzville and Wright City and employ approximately 40 people. They are a preferred pro shop for most major insurance companies. Maze Collision Repair is a family owned and ran business. Johnny and Sandy Maze have two daughters, who are both involved in the every day activities of the business.

CYSTIC FIBROSIS

It all started in 1991. Maze Collision had been steadily growing and flourishing for a solid decade, and the Maze family was doing wonderfully all together. In June of that year, however, something went slightly amiss. The first Maze grandchild, Dalton, was born with a terminal lung disease, Cystic Fibrosis. In the years to follow, Nathan and Ryan, Dalton’s siblings, were brought into the family as well, without any problems. But in 1998, the first Maze granddaughter, Kayla, was born with the same terminal illness as her cousin, Dalton. And again in 1999, Kayla’s younger sister, Hannah, was also born with CF.

Since 1991, the Maze family has been extremely active in raising money for Cystic Fibrosis. Over the years, small bowling nights have evolved into enormous golf tournaments, every year we form a team for the CF Walk, have large fundraising auctions, and the manager of our St. Peters location, mother of Kayla and Hannah, Tammy Krumrey has been on the CFF Board for the last six years. Dalton’s mother, and manager of the Wentzville and Wright City locations, Renee’, has been a nurse since Dalton’s birth, inspired by her oldest son’s medical needs.

The work of the entire Maze family, including the uncounted time and effort put into the events by our Marketing Coordinator, Nancy Dempski, make all of the Cystic Fibrosis fundraising possible. We have all worked together to give new hope and serenity to the victims of Cystic Fibrosis. And we are forever and always thankful for the people who help us to raise the money.
